From the beginning, Mil-Spec Tefzel twisted, shielded pair wire has defied every wire stripper available to installers, leaving a razor blade or knife as the best option for removing the outer jacket.  This time consuming method is imprecise, and it can easily lead to internal shorts between the center conductors and the shield, especially when solder sleeves are used for shield termination. The Twisted Stripper creates two precision helical slits in the outer jacket, leaving the braided shield untouched.  Dramatically reduced wire prep time combined with the assurance of no more internal wire damage makes the Twisted Stripper an invaluable addition to your tool inventory.

Tool actuator mechanism is calibrated by using a calibrated pull scale.  Actuator stops are set within an approved operating range.
Actuator stop force is calibrated using a pull scale to verify tool is within calibration range.  Stop force adjustment is made via two set screws in the tool rotating collar.  Standard calibration cycle.
